The little dragon brooded a while, then wept again and said: "Brother, speak no talk of breaking up. If the master is to be saved, you have only to go and fetch a certain one."

沉吟半晌 is to brood, to hesitate a good while before speaking; 救得師父 takes as ; 散火 takes as sàn. The pause matters — he stops pleading and starts planning.

jièdào:「jiàoqǐngshuíme?」 jièdào:「jiàoqǐngshuíme?」

Bajie said: "And whom would you have me fetch?"

, "bid, have," is jiào. Curiosity is the opening the horse needed.

The little dragon said: "Get you back, good and early, upon a cloud to the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit, and fetch the Eldest Brother, Sun the Pilgrim.

In 趁早兒, good and early, the colloquial is er. 花果山 is the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit, Wukong's home and kingdom; 孫行者, "Sun the Pilgrim," is his religious style, with read xíng.

He has yet the great powers to subdue demons, and will surely save the master, and avenge for you and me this defeat besides."

還有 takes as hái; 降妖, to subdue demons, takes as xiáng — not the jiàng of descending; 管教, "will bring it about that…", takes as jiào; 報得這敗陣之仇 takes as . Two offers in one sentence: rescue for the master, and revenge for Bajie.

總評 Commentary

The horse's counsel is the hinge of the second half. The crisis cannot be met by the disciples who are present, only by recalling the one who was sent away. It is the practical corollary of the 意馬心猿 couplet — the scattered phases cannot cohere without the Mind-Monkey, so the Mind-Monkey has to be brought back.

Notice that the pitch is aimed at Bajie's appetite for vindication quite as much as at his duty. Wukong will not only save the master but avenge 這敗陣之仇, the humiliation of their defeat. Rescue and revenge are offered together — one to move the master's cause, one to move Bajie.
