看得不差 Your Brother Is Seldom Wrong

"Bajie, your elder brother is usually not far wrong in what he sees. Since he says so, let us pay no attention to her and be on our way."
In 看得不差 the 得 is the unstressed de, hanging a judgement on the verb — sees, and sees accurately. The 罷 at the end is the other one, the light ba that turns a statement into a suggestion.

Pilgrim was overjoyed and said, "Good! The master has a fate to live out."
有命 — to have a life, to have an allotted span still to run. Pilgrim means it literally: his master has just avoided being eaten.
Tripitaka comes down on Pilgrim's side, and the reason he gives is the right one. His disciple's record on this particular question is excellent. That is the whole basis on which such a decision can sensibly be made.
Pilgrim's delight is the giveaway that he expected to lose. He has been overruled on exactly this point before, disastrously, and he knows how the argument usually goes. His relief lasts rather less than a page.
