“Keep Quiet, I'll See to It”

Zhu Bajie muttered to himself, “This is bad, this is bad — this Daoist really does have the power.
作念 "to mutter to oneself." 不好了: the third tone of 好 keeps 不 at bù. 果然有本事 "really does have the skill" -- Bajie conceding the match after one gust of wind.
One crack of the tablet, and sure enough the wind is up.”
響了一下: the falling tone of 下 pulls 一 to yí. 刮風 "the wind blows."
Pilgrim said, “Brothers, keep quiet; the rest of you say nothing more to me, only guard our master well, and wait while I go and see to the business.”
行者: 行 = xíng. 悄悄的 "quietly." 只管護持 "just keep guarding him." 幹事去來 "off to see to the business" -- deliberately vague, and the vagueness is for Bajie's benefit as much as ours.
總評 Commentary
Bajie's dismay measures how convincing the rite looks from ground level, and his panic is useful: it tells the reader that the wind is real and that nobody on the pilgrims' side arranged it.
Wukong's reply is four short orders -- keep quiet, say nothing to me, guard the master, wait. This is the moment he stops being an advocate and becomes an operator. The contest will not be settled on the altar; it will be settled in the air above it, out of everyone's sight.
