剿除去來 Let Me Go and Finish Them

Pilgrim then laughed and said, "Master, sit down a while, and let me go and wipe them out."
剿除 is to exterminate, a word from military reports about putting down bandits. 坐坐 doubles the verb to make it brief and easy — take a seat for a moment. The gap between the two halves of this sentence is the whole character: sit down and have a rest, and I will go and destroy a household.
Wukong laughing before he goes back is worth noticing. The rescue is done, the master is safe, and what he is about to do is not rescue but demolition.
The chapter has been careful about this. He put the cave to sleep rather than fighting it, and he took nothing but his teacher and a stranger. Now he goes back for the rest, and the novel does not soften what follows.
