傳報天下 Proclaimed to the Realm

'Parting from the place beneath the Six Paths of Rebirth, I had Marshal Zhu invite me to mount, and, swift as flight, we came to the bank of the River Wei, where I saw a two-headed fish at play upon the water.'

飛也相似 'just like flying,' at great speed; 似 sì. 雙頭魚 the two-headed fish (the pair of golden carp). 行 xíng.

正zhèng歡huān喜xǐ處chù，他tā將jiāng我wǒ撮cuō著zhe腳jiǎo，推tuī下xià水shuǐ中zhōng，朕zhèn方fāng得dé還huán魂hún也yě。」正zhèng欢huān喜xǐ处chù，他tā将jiāng我wǒ撮cuō著zhe脚jiǎo，推tuī下xià水shuǐ中zhōng，朕zhèn方fāng得dé还huán魂hún也yě。」

'Just as I was delighting in it, he seized me by the feet and pushed me down into the water — and so I came to return to life.'

撮著 zhe, to grab hold of. 還魂 huán hún. The emperor's account ends where his death did, at the shove into the Wei.

眾zhòng臣chén聞wén此cǐ言yán，無wú不bù稱chēng賀hè。遂suì此cǐ編biān行xíng傳chuán報bào天tiān下xià，各gè府fǔ縣xiàn官guān員yuán上shàng表biǎo稱chēng慶qìng不bù題tí。众zhòng臣chén闻wén此cǐ言yán，无wú不bù称chēng贺hè。遂suì此cǐ编biān行xíng传chuán报bào天tiān下xià，各gè府fǔ县xiàn官guān员yuán上shàng表biǎo称chēng庆qìng不bù题tí。

When the ministers heard these words, there was none who did not offer congratulation. Thereupon the matter was compiled and proclaimed throughout the realm, and the officials of every prefecture and district sent up memorials of felicitation — of which no more need be said.

編行傳報 to compile and circulate an official report. 上表稱慶 to submit memorials of congratulation. 不題 'no more of this,' a storyteller's formula closing a thread.

總評 Commentary

The emperor's recital ends and the court erupts in congratulation; the marvel is at once formalized into an imperial proclamation circulated to the provinces. The storyteller's closing tag — 不題, 'no more of this' — folds the whole underworld episode shut and turns the narrative toward its consequences: the amnesties, the Grand Mass, and the pilgrimage they will occasion.
