Hearing it, Pilgrim was in a great rage. "This foul demon is beyond all insolence.
潑魔 is a foul or rascally demon — 潑 is the same character as in the abusive 潑猴 that heaven throws at Pilgrim. He is using the insult that is usually used about him.
我保唐僧成正果,他怎麼算計要吃我的人?」

I am escorting the Tang Monk to the true fruit of his labour — how dare he scheme to eat a man of mine?"
成正果 is to attain the true fruit, the Buddhist term for the end of the road. 我的人 is the possessive that does the work: not my master but a man of mine, which is how a bodyguard talks.
The rage arrives four thousand characters into the chapter and it is the first unperformed emotion Pilgrim has had. Everything before this was technique.
The insult he reaches for is the one heaven throws at him. Foul demon, said by somebody who has spent the afternoon impersonating one.
And the possessive is the tell. A man of mine — not the holy pilgrim, not the Buddha's chosen. Pilgrim's loyalty in this book is not doctrinal; it is proprietorial, and the demon has been caught interfering with his property.
