Tripitaka paid his respects to the Longevity Star, and Sha Monk made his greeting too.
The two most retiring members of the party, doing the correct thing quietly. Bajie is not mentioned, which given what he has been doing for the last hour is probably a kindness.
都問道：「白鹿既是老壽星之物，如何得到此間為害？」
都问道：「白鹿既是老寿星之物，如何得到此间为害？」
They all asked, "If the white deer is the old Longevity Star's own creature, how did it manage to get out here and do harm?"
得到 takes dé, the attainment reading — how did it manage to get here. 為害 is wéi, the copular "to be or do," not the wèi of "for the sake of." The question everyone has been too polite to ask is finally asked, and it is asked by the room rather than by Wukong.
It takes a table of monks to put the obvious question. Wukong accepted the ownership claim at the willow grove and moved straight on to logistics; nobody asked how a god's riding animal came to spend three years running a kingdom.
The phrasing is careful and a little pointed. Not "how did it escape" but "how did it get here and do harm" — the harm is included in the question, and the Longevity Star is being invited to account for it.
