Pilgrim swore at him. "You vile monster, you are shamming blind!"

as a prefix means vile, rascally — 潑怪, 潑猴, and it is one of the book's staple insults. 裝瞎子 is to put on an act of blindness, and is the sentence-final particle that gives it a jeering lilt. He is wrong, of course: the man is blind.

He took the cudgel out of his ear and struck at him.

耳朵 reduces its second syllable to duo, the modern neutral — a reading registered at the chapter's kickoff because the character is in no guard table and would otherwise have gone in silently. Nine characters, and the whole gesture is by now familiar.

Vairambha caught hold of him. "Great Sage, do not strike. Go and see to your master."

扯住 is to grab and hold on — the same physical verb the seven spider-women used on their brother when he tried to walk out of a room. And the priority she names is the one Pilgrim has not mentioned since he arrived.

總評 Commentary

Pilgrim's instinct on finding a blinded enemy is to hit him, and to accuse him of faking first. That is not villainy; it is the same reflex that made him beat seven captive spiders to a pulp when a negotiation went wrong. The book keeps showing you this and keeps declining to comment.

What stops him is a hand on his arm and one sentence. 且看你師父去 — go and see to your master — is the reminder that he came here for a rescue, not a killing, and that three men have been lying on a floor for the whole of this journey. He has not asked after them once since arriving.

It is also, structurally, the second time in this chapter that somebody has physically restrained a person who wanted to go and hit somebody. The first was seven sisters holding their brother back. Both times the restrainer was right.
