The queen took them into her hands: "I understand.
曉得 takes dé: the character has fused into the verb of knowing and no longer introduces anything. Nine characters, and she does not thank him.
"I shall set them here on the dressing table, where nobody will move them."
妝臺 is the dressing table — the third piece of toilet furniture the chapter has used, after the dressing chamber where the bracelets were kept and the cosmetic case they were put away in. The demon's treasure is going to live where a woman's things go, which is the one place in the cave he has no business at.

交歡會喜 is two two-character phrases for the same thing, which is how an invitation is made warm. She gives the order in front of him and does not wait for his agreement.
