He Bowed His Thanks To Each

The Idiot, strong now with food in him, roused his spirits, found his muckrake, went with the Great Sage to the back, broke open the cellar, untied the ropes from them all and invited them out below the treasure pavilion.
得食力壯 — strong now with food in him — makes the kitchen scene load-bearing: the rescue of the star-gods runs on Pigsy's lunch.
Tripitaka put on his cassock and bowed his thanks upward to each of them in turn.
Both 一 are yī: 一一 is a set doubling meaning one by one, and the characters keep their full tone where the ordinary rules would shift both of them.
Only then did the Great Sage send the five dragons and the two generals back to Wudang, send the Little Prince Zhang and the four generals back to Pin City, then send the Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions home to the Heavenly Office, and dismiss the Guardians and the monastery-protectors each to his own precinct.
Both 將 are jiàng, generals. 宿 is xiù, a lunar lodge. Four destinations in one sentence, and the borrowed are returned in the order they were borrowed.
總評 Commentary
The chapter's accounts are settled in three segments, and they are settled as accounts. Every company Monkey borrowed is sent back to the establishment it came from, in order, and the sentence that does it is built out of four repetitions of send and dismiss.
Tripitaka bowing his thanks to each in turn is the gesture the chapter has been withholding. Monkey petitioned four divinities and thanked them in passing; his master, who was tied up in a gallery throughout, is the one who performs the courtesy properly.
